We had a turnout of 26 riders for the 9:30am ride starting at the Rail Trail in Groton at the foot of Station Ave. The weather was sunny and somewhat humid for June. The ride covered 34 mi and almost 1500 ft  of elevation through Groton, Pepperell, Dunstable, Nashua and Hollis, NH and returning via Townsend, Shirley and West Groton.

There were two mechanical incidents; Dick L had a flat tire at mi 13.6 of which he was able to fix at the rest stop at Monument Square in Hollis and Winslow Green dropped a chain which didn’t need repair at mi 22 on Wheeler St. in Pepperell.

Human arrows were successful as no one got lost and a special thanks to Lindy K for handling the sweep chores.

Riders included: Don Kennedy (leader), Bernie F,  Betsy T-K, Bob W, Brian O’C, Claire R, Clyde K, David F, Romaine R,  David W, Dick L, Gordon T, Janet M, Joe M, Kaz Z, Lindy K, Lisa B, Merle A, Mike D, Rini K,  Walter McK, Pat S, Ron M, Russ K, Winslow G
